Motivated by Christ's social teaching, Catholic Charities, through its caring providers, exists to promote the dignity of every individual, family, and community in a manner that maximizes human potential, self-sufficiency, and richness of diversity.

Programs and Services
A non-profit agency serving people of all faiths in Hartford, Litchfield, and New Haven Counties since 1920. Under the guidance of an outstanding professional staff, our agency offers scores of varied Local Programs and services to meet the needs of every age group from infants in post-natal care to our senior citizens. Each year, new program initiatives are undertaken to meet the unique needs of every community we serve. Programs include Child Care and School Readiness, Family & Mental Health Counseling, positive alternatives for at-risk Youth in our inner cities, Residential Services for Developmentally Disabled Adults, and Migration & Refugee Services. Our Adoption and Pregnancy Counseling programs have served individuals and couples of all races and religions for over eighty years.
