Office
for Ecumenical & Interreligious Affairs
Mission
The mission of the Office for Ecumenical & Interreligious
Affairs is two-fold. Ecumenically, the office seeks to
promote greater unity in the Christian Church, particularly
through
shared prayer, theological dialogue, and common witness between
Catholics and Christians of other denominations. Interreligiously,
the office seeks to promote greater mutual understanding between
Catholics and believers of other faith traditions outside Christianity.
In all its endeavors, the work of this office is conducted
working
closely with the Archbishop.
